Sri Sanjay Seth, Hon'ble RRM visited Ordnance Factory Medak on 5th June

Sri Sanjay Seth, Hon'ble RRM visited Ordnance Factory Medak on 5th June. He was received by the Sri Sanjay Dwivedi CMD/AVNL in the presence of Sri Satyabrata Mukherjee, Director/Operations. He inspected the production facilities and enquired about the production schedules. The Hon'ble Minister was shown all the products manufactured at OF Medak. He appreciated and expressed satisfaction at the preparedness of OF Medak. Along with Sri Raghunanadan Rao, Hon'ble Member of Parliament, Medak took a tank ride. Both the dignitaries planted saplings to mark the world's environment day. The representatives of the Unions and Associations submitted a memorandum to the Hon'ble Minister. Later the Hon'ble Minister was given a presentation by the team OF Medak. The Hon'ble Minister assured to resolve the issues pertaining to AVNL and he also exhorted CMD/AVNL to focus diversification of the products and thrust to be given on R&D to ensure self sustenance of AVNL. The visit ended successfully on a positive note.
